Monel K500 (UNS N05500, W.Nr. 2.4375) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy strengthened by additions of aluminum and titanium. It retains the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 while offering substantially higher strength, hardness, and wear resistance.
The alloy exhibits excellent resistance to seawater, sour gas environments, alkalis, and many chemical media.
