Nickel Alloy GH3044丨ХН60ВТ

GH3044 is a high-performance nickel-chromium-tungsten alloy. It is characterized by excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1100°C and moderate creep strength below 900°C. The alloy exhibits high plasticity, excellent cold-forming properties, and superior weldability, making it a primary choice for complex sheet metal components in turbine engines.

Nickel Alloy GH3044丨ХН60ВТ

The microstructure of GH3044 is stable, consisting primarily of a single-phase austenite matrix after solution treatment at 1200°C, with small amounts of MC and M23C6 carbides. Its high chromium content provides a protective oxide scale, while tungsten provides solid-solution strengthening to the matrix. It maintains good thermal fatigue resistance and is highly resistant to carburization and nitridation in high-temperature atmospheres.

Applications:

GH3044 is predominantly used in the aerospace and power generation industries for:

  • Aero-engine Components: Main combustion chambers, afterburner parts, and flame holders.

  • High-Temperature Structures: Thermal shields, guide vanes, and mounting rings.

  • Exhaust Systems: Ducting and liners for high-temperature gas flow.

  • Industrial Heating: Heat treatment furnace fixtures and components operating in oxidizing environments up to 1100°C.

Normal product forms: wires, rods, bars, forgings, strips, sheets, plates, and pipes.
