Applications of Inconel 601:
Inconel 601 is used in thermal processing, chemical processing, pollution control, aerospace, and power generation.
It is used for various types of thermal-processing equipment, including baskets, trays, fixtures for annealing, carburizing, carbonitriding, nitriding, and other heat-treating operations.
It is also used in industrial furnaces, radiant tubes, muffles, retorts, flame shields, strand-annealing tubes, woven-wire conveyor belts, chain curtains, burner nozzles, and electrical resistance heating elements.
Normal product forms: Pipes, tubes, sheets, strips, plates, round bars, flat bars, forgings, hexagons, wires, and extruded sections.
