Incoloy 800丨UNS N08800

Incoloy 800, also known as UNS N08800, is a nickel-chromium alloy with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature atmospheres. It also resists corrosion in many aqueous environments. The alloy maintains a stable, austenitic structure during prolonged exposure to high temperatures.

Applications of Incoloy 800:

  • Incoloy 800 is commonly used in various industries including petrochemical, chemical processing, power generation, and heat treating.

  • It finds applications in furnace components such as radiant tubes, muffles, and annealing covers due to its resistance to oxidation and carburization at high temperatures.

  • In the petrochemical industry, Alloy 800 is used in heat exchangers, steam methane reformers, and catalytic crackers where it provides excellent resistance to corrosive environments.

  • It is also employed in power generation plants for components exposed to high temperatures and corrosive gases, such as boiler tubes and heat exchanger tubing.

Normal product forms: sheets, plates, bars, forgings, tubes, and wires.
